Yesterday night I went out after my ordinary work and try to catch nightjars in another area. The shurringactivity is still a bit low but I could catch 2 nightjars before the night was over. The first one was a second year bird and the other was a recovery from 2015.

Undertail coverts second year bird has no white tips.
The older bird has well marked white tips of the undertail coverts.
