When I started to catch nightjars 2010 was this bird the first i ever have ringed and in that time he was 3 year or older.
This nigthjar is now at least 9 year old and the old record for Sweden is a bird who was 7 year and 7 months old.

A new record is born!!!!
Swedens oldest nightjar was trapped last night by Gabriel Norevik.
When I started to catch nightjars 2010 was this bird the first i ever have ringed and in that time he was 3 year or older.
